At Walden each camper is celebrated and included. We pride ourselves on ensuring that all campers are accepted, valued, and comfortable. We are purposefully small enough to allow campers and staff to form strong relationships while enjoying exciting activities. Walden focuses on fun and participation. We support and challenge campers at all levels of experience and talent. We play together and have a blast each day forging lifelong friendships and enjoying the spirit of Walden. At Walden it’s not about being the best, it is about bringing out your best self!
A Foundation of Confidence and Character
Camp Walden provides an amazing opportunity to build values, character, and confidence. Through learning to reach out and accept others, campers learn how to make friends and how to be good friends. By coming together on the playing field, they learn teamwork and sportsmanship. When taking on challenges in athletics, arts, aquatics, and adventure, campers develop courage and self-confidence. At Walden, we help campers believe in themselves and be their personal best. And the growth that results from this Walden experience stays with our campers well beyond their summer.
